Mindfulness Trail

The Mindfulness Trail takes place in the magical Sunshine Coast Hinterland, approximately 1-hour drive west of Noosa in Conondale National Park. It’s a beautiful 35,500-hectare park filled with creek crossing, 4x4 tracks, rainforests, crystal clear creeks, stunning waterfalls and spectacular scenery. This diverse rainforest is home to an enormous array of wildlife, which includes more than 120 species of birds and a significant number of rare and threatened plants and wildlife.

Intuitively we all know that nature has a positive effect on our well-being and there is now an overwhelming amount of evidence proving this. Research has found that persons living in an urban area are 20% more prone to anxiety disorders and 40% more likely to be affected by mood disorders such as depression. Other research also found that spending time in an outdoor environment increased brain development through neuroendocrine structure and functioning. The immune system is also greatly benefited by being in nature as it is shown to put the body into rest and digest mode, relaxing the parasympathetic system, which in turn strengthens the immune system.

This Mindfulness Trail is designed for an individual to relieve stress, improve well-being and mental health, recognize strengths and acknowledge ways he/she can contribute toward the greater community. Throughout the day you will learn and experience insightful mindfulness techniques to bring awareness to the present moment which helps to alleviate stress and anxiety. The trail concludes with some leisure time and self-enquiry activities around a campfire before heading back to Noosa.

Esoteric Acupuncture

The word 'esoteric' is knowledge and wisdom found from within. You are your own authority! Whereas the word 'exoteric' means knowledge and wisdom that is found from an authority outside of yourself. Having blind faith and trust in everything you are told without trusting into your own powerful intuition.

Esoteric acupuncture is one of the most powerful forms of new age healing that  supports spiritual and energetic health. With a blend of traditional acupuncture, sacred geometry, numerology and the chakra energy system with other ancient and esoteric healing systems.

Esoteric acupuncture supports and assists in empowering a person towards spiritual growth and expansion of consciousness.

The treatment may empower you to help find your missing puzzle piece on the journey of life or simply help you remove stress and feel relaxed.

Traditional Acupuncture

Origins

Traditional acupuncture forms a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with its basis of diagnosis and treatment that the mind and body is in a perfect state of balance. This ancient system of healing originated in China and other far eastern cultures over 2,500 years ago. The treatment is gentle and effective that focuses on helping a person as a whole to improve their entire health and well being. Today, acupuncture is a widely used and accepted form of treatment all over the world.

What to expect at an acupuncture treatment

The treatment will begin with a full diagnostic consultation in where your medical history and aspects of your health and well-being will be asked. The tongue and pulse on both wrists will be also looked at for diagnostic purposes. This comprehensive diagnostic consultation will allow the practitioner to create a treatment plan that includes lifestyle and dietary advice along with the acupuncture.

The acupuncture consists of placing very fine needles into the skin to stimulate specific anatomical points of the body, also known as acupuncture points for therapeutic purposes. Other methods such as heat (moxibustion), cupping, pressure and electro stimulation maybe used.

The acupuncture points are stimulated to balance the movement of qi (lifeforce) in the body to restore health and prevent disease.  There is a wide range of conditions Acupuncture can support. Please call Trent 0429044187 to discuss if it can help you.
